Join our team as a Co-Ordinator in our Planned Civils department at our depot in St Austell (with regular attendance at our other depots based in Plymouth and Exeter) We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, and highly motivated person that can work alongside an already established team, where there will be opportunities for the right candidate to gain additional skills and training to progress their career within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sanitising work instructions received from Client and creating job folders on the field management system.
- Management of the day-to-day resource allocation program
- Desktop scope of works to assist planning including producing utility records and liaison with 3rd party statutory authorities
- Assisting with the production of Site Safety packs, documentation and ensuring communication and briefings are rolled out to the workforce
- Support Operations team with traffic management design
- Support Operations team in maintaining and closing Street works permits
- Assisting with Materials, Plant, & PPE procurement
- Liaison with Estates teams to ensure correct procedures are followed for accessing private land
- Regular communication with Clients and Stakeholders, providing progress updates.
- Support operations team in delivering efficient and compliant Wastewater projects and other Civil engineering projects across a variety of clients
- Completion of project closedowns to set KPI’s
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would have experience working in the utilities and construction sector with a good understanding in the following areas:
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Competent in the use of Microsoft office and
- Health, safety and risk management
- Street works, especially requirements in line with traffic control and excavating within the highway
- Have knowledge and experience of utilities and wider construction industry
- Full UK driving license
- CAD experience preferred but training can be given

Pay: £24,500.00-£27,500.00 per year
